Dear Folks- I am well and just got some letters from home and as I have said it makes me feel better to get them. You said that the trees are doing fine and you had sold two of the pigs and the calf was about as big as the cow. Well I don't know yet when we will be sailing home but as the war (or 'lagare') is over we are getting a little anxious to be moving and the more we think of home the more we want to go and we have had enough of France and when any Frenchman says that it is a grand and better country than 'America' I will tell him that I was
