Dear Father and Mother:
Received your letter of Oct 14th. There is much to write about, but can not.
Hoping they will discontinue to censure our letters being the war is over. I have
stopped my alotment. You will get the check for Nov. but noth in December.
Then I may be transferred to some other place or home. Time will tell. I am
curious to know if you received the letters written in London while on my
