Sonoma County Historical Society SAVE IT! DON'T TEAR IT DOWN!
A proposal has been submitted to the office of Community Development, Santa Rosa City Hall, to tear down the Rosenberg's Department Store Building and replace it with an office retail complex.
Do you want a slick, L.A.-style, ten-story, high-rise in our downtown?
Rosenberg's is an important part of our heritage. Let's not destroy this valuable link to our past. The California Art Deco Society has given their highest award to this priceless building. How can we let Rosenberg's be torn down?
Tell the Santa Rosa City Council that this building should be saved from demolition for other uses: *Festival Marketplace *Arts and Crafts Showcase *Professional Offices *Performing Arts Center *Hotel/Restaurants/Clubs *Nordstrom's
Can you volunteer your time, effort, talents, money?
